Baseball & Softball Tryout Registration

Baseball
Tryouts July 24th, 2022
South Hills Elite is forming Baseball teams for the Fall/Spring season 2022 - 2023. Registration will be free per player online. The tryout will be July 24th, 2022, for 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U,13U, and 14U at 400 Mowry Drive Pleasant Hills, PA. 9U & 10U check-in will begin at 3:30pm and the tryout will begin at 4pm and end at 6pm. 11U&12U check-in will begin at 5:30pm and tryout will be from 6pm to 8pm. 13U & 14U check-in will begin at 7:30pm and tryout will from 8pm to 10pm at 400 Mowry Drive Pleasant Hills, PA. Please indicate your primary position, along with your secondary position. Please bring a check for $300 made out to "South Hills Elite, LLC" only to be deposited once player accepts position. For any reason the player does not make the team, the check will be properly destroyed. May 1st will be the age cutoff to determine appropriate age eligibility. Please provide Date of Birth in registration notes.
Players will be evaluated by outside judges. The player will be judged on arm strength, accuracy, grounders, flyballs, hitting, bunting, attitude, and base running.
The season cost will be $2,100 this will cover multiple tournaments, 2 uniforms, practice shirt, bags, helmets, and indoor/outdoor practicing facilities cost. There will be opportunities for fundraising for teams wanting to do additional tournaments. Also, payment can be set-up monthly for 6 months.
If you are looking to coach or be an assistant coach, please indicate this as well. Our coaches will have to complete a background check and all screening forms.
If for any reason you cannot make this tryout date, we can make arrangements to come to the indoor facility. Please complete the registration form link below. If the weather does not cooperate, we will use our indoor facility at 1200 Lebanon Rd West Mifflin, PA. I will send out a reminder to your email if this should change. "
